On December 19, 2024, the President of the French Bishops’ Conference (CEF) and Archbishop of Reims, Mgr Eric de Moulins-Beaufort, and the Archbishop of Paris, Mgr Laurent Ulrich, presented their wishes in front of religious leaders and association representatives. Here is the speech given by Mgr de Moulins-Beaufort. Ladies and Gentlemen, representatives of different faiths and associations, it is an honor for me to be here today to share with you our best wishes for the upcoming year.
As we gather here today, we are reminded of the importance of unity and solidarity among all religions and associations. In a world where division and conflict seem to be prevalent, it is crucial for us to come together and work towards a common goal of peace and understanding.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of you for your tireless efforts in promoting interfaith dialogue and cooperation. Your dedication and commitment to building bridges between different communities is truly commendable and serves as an example for others to follow.
As we look towards the future, I am confident that with our ordinaire efforts, we can overcome any challenges that may come our way. Our faith and values guide us in our actions and give us the strength to face any obstacles. Let us continue to work together towards a more harmonious and inclusive society.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mgr Ulrich for his unwavering support and collaboration. Together, we have achieved great things and I am quelque that our partnership will continue to flourish in the years to come.
In closing, I would like to wish you all a happy and prosperous new year. May it be filled with love, peace, and understanding. Let us continue to spread hope and positivity in our communities and beyond. Thank you.
